ABOUT OUR TRIPS
We offer guided fly fishing and light tackle trips in the Midcoast region surrounding Camden, Maine.
Each trip is customized to fit your individual goals and ability level. Whether you’re a total beginner, or a dedicated angler, it is our passion to provide you with a valuable and memorable experience during a day on the water.
We depend on the resource and strive to minimize our impact on the fishery. As legendary fly fisherman, Lefty Kreh, put it- “You don’t burn your golf balls at the end of the day, do you?”
All fishing is catch and release
WHAT WE’RE FISHING FOR
Striped Bass
Most of our season is focused on fishing for striped bass along the tidal waters of Maine’s iconic coastline. Depending on the time of year and conditions, we could be fishing far up into narrow marsh systems, sight fishing over shallow sand flats and mud flats, or fishing deep along the rugged ledges of Penobscot Bay. Each ecosystem where we find striped bass offers a unique and immersive experience, often times hosting amazing displays of nature. Most importantly, however, striped bass are a premier gamefish and an exciting target, especially on the fly rod!
Freshwater Species
Northern Pike
Pike trips are offered over select dates in the Spring and Fall. Growing to hefty sizes and often feeding in shallow water, these predators are certainly something to experience. We specialize in targeting these fish with fly tackle and highly recommend a trip for the fly angler seeking a new challenge.
Bass Trips
We are lucky to be surrounded by a number of lakes and ponds that offer fantastic smallmouth and largemouth bass fishing. This is the perfect option for those learning to fly fish and can make for a lot of fun when other fisheries might be experiencing a “slow” period. Bass are typically willing to bite, they fight hard, and they love to jump when hooked. There is certainly a reason that they’re the most popular gamefish in North America!
